How long have you been in Bangalore?
I’m very new to Bangalore, having been here for about four months now.

What do you like about this city?
The cosmopolitan feel and attitude of the city makes it really easy for someone like me, who has been away from India for more than 20 years, to settle in. The weather is pleasant, especially the early mornings.  Most importantly it is the warmth of the people that makes me feel at home here in the garden city.

Where do you usually go to party, drink and eat?
So far, my favourite hangouts are By the Blue at Grand Mercure in Koramangala and Shiro at UB City.

What’s your take on the people of this city?
Having lived in more than ten cities in four continents, I’ve never come across more welcoming and positive people. They are sophisticated, yet humble, and generally chilled out.

How do you think the city can improve?
The key to improvement is infrastructure development and an organised flow of traffic. However, the development needs to be in a sustainable manner, enhancing the flora and fauna of the city. We also need to attract leisure travelers, especially during the weekends. Perhaps the extension of the deadline for bars and clubs will help.
