ATM For Visually Impaired Opens In Bangalore

Have you ever walked out of an ATM and had a visually impaired person seek your help to withdraw money? This happens commonly and often, if a visually impaired person happens to seek the help of a nefarious element, they end up losing all the money they have in their account.

Thanks to the efforts Madhu Singhal, the founder and managing trustee of Mitra Jyothi and the cooperation of Union Bank, Bangalore's first ATM for the visually impaired will be fully functional in HSR Layout from today.

The ATM will have a audio guide that will assist the visually impaired and a braille keypad. The ATM can also be used by everyone else.
