Fufu

This is a staple food in many West African countries. It is made with common flour like maize or semolina or even the flour of the cassava plant. It is served along with a peanut soup traditional in West Africa. Fufu is eaten with the fingers, and a small ball of it can be dipped into an accompanying soup or sauce.
