Gourmet Express Goes To China

The Lalit Ashok hosts a Chinese Food Festival till June 10.

The Gourmet Express at The Lalit Ashok goes Chinese this month. Aptly named ‘The Great Bowl of China’, the ten-day food festival features authentic and traditional Chinese dishes at OKO, the specialty restaurant at the hotel.

Going the extra mile to provide its guests an authentic fare, the food festival brings forth the eight culinary traditions of China spanning Anhui, Cantonese, Fujian, Hunan, Jiangsu, Shandong, Szechuan, and Zhejiang cuisines. The elaborate menu includes dim sums like Park Charm Kai and Cha Choy Lung Keen. The main course options feature Mud Thoang Si Chaap Ha, U-tou Kai Tank, Ho-Laan Choy, Pak Choy Chow Tung Koo, Shaan Tung Mein and Park Faan. There is also a wide range of soups and delicious desserts served from live stations. The experience is priced at Rs. 1195 + taxes per person (vegetarian) and Rs. 1295 + taxes per person (non-vegetarian).
