SBI Introduces A Women Staff Only Branch

The State Bank of India has opened a branch in Indiranagar, that is run by a women only staff. While the branch opened in November 2013, the bank is planning to add more staff members to encourage and assist women in carrying out banking and financial activities. While men are allowed to conduct banking activity in the branch, priority is given to women.

Located at Indiranagar II stage, 13th Cross, the branch is called the Indira Mahila Shakha and has had over 250 accounts opened and transferred since it opened four months back.
