Where You Should Eat Out?

Cooking came my way rather late in life. It started off as a survival weapon during the days when I stayed alone, worked and cooked for myself. Also the part about experimenting came about the same time. I was the chef and the customer. In the process of pleasing my own self I started enjoying the art of cooking. Apart from cooking I have been a storyteller and story lover ever since I can remember. Thus I like to weave my recipes around my daily observations and stories attached with them.

As much as I like to be in the kitchen, I like to eat out as well. Here are some the places I would recommend to everyone in the city. The list is just a few of the places I really liked eating. There are plenty more and still evolving.

1.Punjab Grill (Koramangala)

If like me you love Indian cuisine more and want to have a hearty meal, then this is the place to be. Traditional, authentic Punjabi dishes with a modern twist. You are sure to get bowled over by the taste. The portions are huge and so is the dining area. The surprise element comes when you are served a Paan Shot after your meal. A must visit for anyone craving authentic Punjabi cuisine.

Must try: Chatni Pulav, Patialashahi Kadhai Paneer, Butter Chicken
2. Nando's (ITPL, Church Street)

If you ever liked that Peri Peri mix you got at Mcdonald's then you are in for a treat for yourself. This place is not like any usual food joint. It is fine dining with an African twist. Perfectly marinated chicken in secret sauces until the flavour goes right through to the bone. They're then flame-grilled and basted in your choice of Nando’s Peri Peri sauce. The result is ultimate perfection. The decor, music and the staff are enough to take you to Africa right here in Bangalore. The portions are big and lip smacking.

Must try: Cataplana Algarve, Peri Peri Chicken

2.Bistro Claytopia (Indiranagar, Koramangla)

A relaxed setting, open air seating arrangements, green leafy walkways, handmade clay pots, and the some delicious burgers in town. They ambiance and food compliment each other at this place. The burgers have no match. A perfect hangout for an evening with friends. Also a good place to celebrate your kids' birthdays.

Must try: Roadside Rowdy Burgers, Pasta

3. California Pizza Kitchen (Phoenix Market City, Indiranagar)

If you are bored of eating those jaw-breaking home delivery pizzas and are craving for some fresh wood fire ones then head to CPK. Freshly baked pizzas (no not just for advertisements) with choice of crusts and creative toppings. Yes it might not have your mouth full of cheese but the taste will win you over for sure. Also do not miss out on the desserts as they have some perfect desserts to end your meal. This is not a place to fill yourself with pasta and other stuff. A serious pizza place.

Must try: Choice of Pizzas, Red velvet cake
