Arabian cuisine is mainly a combination of Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and Indian food. It has been affected by the mingling of Arab and non-Arabs over the centuries. Sharing a meal with others is an old honored tradition in the Arabian World and an expression of hospitality. With this theme in mind, Brew & Barbeque proudly presents Arabic Food Festival from 28th July to 11th August.
The festival will showcase an extensive range of dishes and flavors incorporated with authentic Arabian herbs and spices. The menu will comprise of Vegetarian Starters like Fatayer Bi Sabanikh- Flatbread stuffed with spinach, feta, and pine nuts and deep fried, Manakish Zaatar- Flatbread topped with Zaatar accompanied with hummus, Bathinjan Mekli- Deep-fried Eggplant accompanied with Tzatziki and Falafel- Fava bean Patties deep fried.
Non-Vegetarian Starters will include- Sambousek Lahme- Filo pastry triangles ﬁlled with ground lamb and pine nuts, Kebbe Aleras- Bulgur wheat and grounded lamb meat stuffed with pinenut and cheese, Jawaneh- Garlic ﬂavored chicken wings grilled over charcoal and finally the Egyptian dish Shish Toauk- Sesame ﬂavored chicken skewers
The menu for the festival is curated by Chef Nuthan Prasad who has more than 20 years of experience in the kitchen. The Food at brew & barbeque is hearty and handcrafted, delicious and altogether great soul food served in an atmosphere that tempts you into whiling away the hours.
