Rangasthe, a Kannada amateur theatre group will stage KAADHU KATHEYADAVARAU written and directed by Talakadu Gururaju, in the city at KALAGRAMA, MALATHAHALLI on 15th September, 2018.

About Drama – KAADHU KATHEYADAVARU

A storyline revolving around the lost lower class, less fortunate, and unusual people who are deprived and propelled from their villages, whose livelihood is now based in an old temple uphill away from the town, anticipating a disruptive and anonymous personality with respect to everyone’s life.

Story revolving the life’s picture of the uncertain, deranged, orphaned and the drunkards. A story revolving around the tragic characters who fight themselves against the administration, caste, creed and monopoly, later finding themselves an unusual way of life. This play offers Fondness, tenderness and not on track love stories along with a journey on the road hugged by beliefs and humility and the search for the final destination of new life, ultimately resulting in a tragic way.
The play has been framed and composed based on the linguistic culture of old mysore region which defines life in an atypical way.
SATURDAY 15th of September 2018 at Kalagrama , malathahalli at 3.30pm and 7.30 PM
About the director:
Talakadu Gururaju is a renowned artist well known for his new, contemporary possible experiments in modern theatre.
He is not only well versed in story writing, poem writing, literature but also in children literature, script writing, direction and composition of theatrical plays.
He is a white collar in giving life to the stage with his simplest and best compositions based on the availability.
Talakadu Gururaju has completed his MA in Kannada and also completed his theatre education in Bharathiya Rangashikshana Kendra of Ranagayana , Mysore and in Nenasam. He has also been a part of nenasam thirugata as an artist and as a technician, he has also worked in various schools and colleges, theatre teams and as in theatre schools as well.
He has the experience with top international and national technicians and directors. He sis now involved in children theatre, which he has been studying as main subject, and also in teaching, writing, art, cinematography, film industry, acting, direction and many other fields.
He has served as the principal of Bharatiya rangashikshana Kendra of rangayaana , Mysore for about 2 years

About RANGASTHE

RANGASTHE, born in the year 2016, is a team with multifaceted young talents who have dedicated themselves to the field of Kannada theatre. The Main Purpose of the Troupe is to discover new aspirants, training them in all aspects of theatre and bringing them to the main stream of Kannada Theatre. To achieve its objectives, Rangasthe has been successfully active in presenting new experiments to the Kannada theatre audience from inception. It is bring led by Mr. Dhanush.n who also happens to be a theatre aspirant since his childhood, who looks upon staging Indian plays at international platforms.

So far it has produced ‘NAAVU NATAKA MAADTHILA’ ,’RANI ADILSHAH’,’DEVARE KAAPADBEKU’, ‘NAMOORA RAMAYANA’,’NEEVU KARE MADIRUVA CHANDADARARU’,’KADE DINA KADE SHOW’,’KAADHU KATHEYADAVARU’ and various street plays.

The play ‘NAAVU NATAKA MAADTHILA’ has bagged 2 best actor awards, the best supporting actor award, and the best play award at the RANAGASHREE state level theatre festival.
The play ‘NAMOORA RAMAYANA’ has bagged the best actress award, the best villain award and the critic’s best play award at the RANGASHREE state level theatre festival.
The play ’KADE DINA KADE SHOW’ bagged two best actor awards and the third best play award at the RANGASHREE state level theatre festival.
