Event Description

Sound awake presents another Tribute to the Mozart of Madras, Sir A R Rahman and another great Indian Music Composer Pritam by the very talented Tatkal. We also have an opening set by 'Most of us' and a closing set by D J Shaa.

TATKAL explores the wonderful live quality of music and highlights its nuances and richness to create a magical impact.

With an irresistible blend of instruments and harmonies, they have performed in various settings, stealing the show and the audience's hearts every single time!

★ MOST OF US ★

MOST OF US is a acoustic pop/rock duo based out of Bangalore. M.O.U was conceptualised when two individuals who have grown up with varied musical interests and genres teamed up to write a song for an event.

Together, they try to merge their varied interests from old school tunes to the “nu age” beat with a touch of M.O.U, of course.

★ DJ Shaa ★

DJ Shaa based out of the emerging Cosmo-city of Kochi, Residing at Qatar, started spinning professionally From 2007 and has not stopped since. Though he play most of the genres, he personally find satisfaction mixing Progressive. His music is pretty popular across the clubs in Kochi. Techno, Progressive, Electro, Minimal house and Trance is what pulls Him. Of-late he headed on with production and churned out a couple of new ones, you may check them oh his page mentioned below.

In Kochi his club scene started off playing at CLUB 1100 at Ramada resorts, and played for all the lounges and clubs out there. He currently Does guest sets for Online radio- themovement.in which is rated the best, The radio mixing is working out good for him and now he have landed up with an opportunity to do his own show named ‘Groove Trip’ on it. It was a proud moment to be the only DJ from Kerala to get selected for the regional finals of ‘Redbull Thre3style ‘12’ – The hunt for the Best Versatile DJ held at Bangalore.

He has been influenced by best Progressive House tunes as well as artist like Tiesto, Swedish House Mafia, Red Hot Chili Peppers etc
