The Puppet show by Rangaputhalli puppeteers will be held at 4.30PM. 

Bangalore, 15th November 2019: As a part of the ongoing Rajasthan Grameen Mela, a puppet show by Rangaputhalli puppeteers will be held on 16th November, Saturday at 4.30PM.

Ranganath Rao, the founder of Rangaputhalli puppeteers, takes on the role of a master puppeteer who spins exciting story lines for his audience. Ranganath who was once a teacher by profession, built an expert team of puppeteers to bring back to life his ancestor’s traditional art form. His grand father Sri Narasinga Rao was a well-known temple based traditional puppeteer and his efforts and achievements encouraged Rao to develop this art.

After having conducted more than 5000 shows across the world (Japan, LA, Austria, Switzerland), Rao believes that puppets shows are an incredible story telling tool to bring out fascinating Indian tales.
