The Magic of Harry Potter: Literature Workshops

Your Hogwarts letter has finally arrived!
What | A month long book and literature workshop, where twice a week we will discuss the nuances and themes, right from the universal themes like death, love and morality in the books, to various pointed discussions about specific characters. We will follow it up with a creative writing workshop with esteemed authors. The event is targeted at budding authors, literature junkies and Harry Potter fans

When | 15 November to 12 December, Wednesdays 6-8 pm, Saturdays, 11 am to 1 pm
Total Sessions | 9
Duration | 2 hours each
Teaching Mode | Handouts of critical material, a writing activity/assignment in every class, Group activities and debates in class (sorting people into houses in first class), Power Point Presentations, Video Clips
Guest Speakers | Anuja Chauhan is often touted as the best author in Indian commercial fiction; she is best known for her best-selling, contemporary novels, The Zoya Factor (2008), Battle For Bittora (2010), Those Pricey Thakur Girls (2013), The House That BJ Built (2015) and “Baaz” (2017). And of course, a super fan of Harry Potter.
Goody Bag | Each participant will receive a goody bag at the end of the workshop, which will include a custom-made wand.
Each session will have a assignments and activities relating to the relevant theme.
