Breadfruit
This is an exotic fruit native to South Pacific Islands, sometimes found in Southern India as well. Its name is derived from the texture of the moderately ripe fruit when cooked, similar to freshly baked bread; it has a potato like flavour. Breadfruit is a staple food in many tropical regions.
