Especially for those in the Sarjapur belt, La Casa is the casa to kick it with a craft beer. The newest micro-brewery in town (don’t hold us to this. The way the city is booming there might be a newer micro-brewery before this piece gets published) is modelled into an old bungalow.
If you are having a bit of a deja vu moment, it’s because La Casa has been around for about 30 years. They have now reopened as La Casa Brewery + Kitchen. Their long legacy makes this the hangout that spans generations for you to enjoy with your parents too. Or if you are the parent, enjoy with your kids.
As Managing Director, MS Sujay says, “La Casa has stood the test of time for the last 30 plus years. We have guests coming for last few decades with simple expectation of tasty world cuisine & great hospitality. Our guests have been enjoying this home-like environment for many years. We have ensured however that the warmth of the place isn’t affected by the chilled beer! We hope to get the same love we have been getting”
Along with the old time La Casa menu there are additions to be paired with the beers. There are Italian pizzas, Chilli con carne, Spanish omelette, Spanish BBQ Pork Ribs, Coorg Pork, Mangalore Pork, Grilled Paneer Shashlik and Tandoori Chicken.
The beers are in a German, Belgian and French style. Some of these are:
