Singara

A singara is a Bengali samosa. Bengalis eat this as a snack and also call it Moshla Cha. It is different from samosas in North India. The potato filling is spiced with Panch Poran, a combination of five spices. It is also crispier. The dough is thinly rolled and deep fried to make it crispier.

The cheap snack is served as a popular street food and is made at home. The snack that originated from the Middle East and is eaten in variations across North India. Predictably, the singara is eaten in Bangladesh.
