Event Description

The first part of Platform 22 will be held on January 11, 7.30 pm in Ranga Shankara, JP Nagar. The evening features full-length, original choreographies by Priyabrat Panigrahi (Bengaluru) and Sanjukta Sinha (Ahmedabad)  who were finalists of this talent incubator programme.

The Attakkalari India Biennial, one of the preeminent contemporary dance festivals to come out of Bengaluru officially launched on January 7, 2022 with Sthavara-Jangama, a dance production presented by the Attakkalari Dance Company. The festival will now host performances, film screenings, Winter School Intensives, a Conference on Dance and dance installations involving Indian and international dancers from January 10. Owing to the new curfew restrictions in place in Bengaluru over the weekend, the Biennial’s programme schedule has been rejigged.  Most live events will now be held during weekdays and in a few instances, they have been moved online. The schedule has been updated keeping COVID-19 safety protocols in mind which require limited audience and social distancing to be followed at public events
