There are some which are big, some small. Some are very heavy, some others are light. Then there are ones that pull you back and retain. Also there are ones which accompany you forever. Bags. Right from birth to death we keep having them. Often they are invisibly visible. (A) maya is about two people starting two different journeys One who wants to leave and draw on a different path, the other who wants to return to the things he has left behind. This show unfolds within the interactions of these two travellers. Upon meeting each other they will go through a series of unforeseen events that will lead them to a path of rediscovery. (A) maya is the odyssey of two people reminding us that not all who wander are lost. The show engages the viewer on how one's baggage or experiences can mould the forward journey of oneself. Through the realm of physical and visual theatre, Amaya articulates the persistence of going forward.
