'A Thousand Parallel Lives: A Book of Poems about Life in Exile and of Home, real and Imagined', is poet Tenzin Pema's attempt to preserve the memories of her homeland and early exile life. It captures as much of the struggles, aspirations, dreams, and hopes of the Tibetan people as they strive to protect their ancient cultural and religious identity in a world of fast-changing priorities. In essence, it's about the thousand parallel lives that Tibetans live in one lifetime as they endeavour to stay true to all things Tibetan.

Tenzin Pema is an award-winning journalist with over 18 years of experience in writing, editing, executing content and branding strategy, and leading teams across various global and national media organisations. Tenzin will be conversing with Dipti Nair and reading from the book.
