Event Description

'Aata Paata' – Summer Carnival is a unique, vibrant, child‑centric, children‑led festival that celebrates the end‑of‑summer mood with play, imagination, and little everyday discoveries. It’s a gentle pause in the middle of summer rush—an invitation to slow down, watch kids lose themselves in fun, and reconnect with the simple joy of playing together.

Little ones start the day with soft lullabies, soothing music, and sweet play for toddlers, while parents unwind in health- wellness session by Dr. Supraja Chandrashekhar and easygoing theatre‑style workshops. In another corner, kids jump into a fun quiz, step up to an open mic, and cheer through a hilarious mango‑slurping competition.

As the morning picks up, there’s clowning, music performance by crowd favorite- Vasu Dixit, and playful workshops where children can sing, dance, and move freely. Older kids dive into theatre, puppetry, and interactive storytelling, where they become the heroes of their own stories. There’s also time to meet Ashok Rajagopalan- hear Gajapati Kulapati stories up close, and walk away with a signed copy, or try simple block printing and take home their own handmade clay creations.
