Abhyas Somatics practice, devised by Navtej Johar, is found on the reciprocal relationship between the word and the body. The two hour workshop will have a twin focus, to foster ease in a) the body to make it more readily available to suggestion; and b) in imagination, to make it more unselfconscious, less censored and burdened by the anxiety of making 'meaning'. Balakrishnan Raghavan will offer vocal accompaniment during this workshop.
