Event Description
Language: English and Polish. In this solo concert, accordianist Paul Zaba will present a blend of Polish, American and Irish folk music. Later in the set, European contemporary music will be brought to the fore, with pieces and songs from Irish contemporary composer Andrew Hamilton, a piece by Anglo-French experimentalist Louis d’Heudieres, music by Paul himself, and many more surprises. By turns serious, playful, ironic and irreverent, come listen to the sounds of a seldom-heard instrument, and expect the unexpected.
