Megha at AIM BIAF 18th Year - 20th September 2026 | Chowdiah Memorial Hall
For 35 years, Megha has been redefining Indian classical music. Founded in 1991 by veena virtuoso Dr. Suma Sudhindra and guitarist Gerard Machado, Megha is India's foremost Karnatic-jazz fusion ensemble.
This special performance at the 18th edition of AIM BIAF brings together East and West in seamless conversation. The band will present music from their two critically acclaimed Sony Music albums, "Clean Licks" and "Touch Another Life," albums that have put Indian fusion on the global map and are now available on iTunes, Spotify, and all major streaming platforms.
The lineup features legends of rhythm and melody: Dr. Suma Sudhindra on veena, Gerard Machado on guitar, Anooru Anantha Krishna Sharma on mridangam, S N Narayana Murthy on ghatam, Joshua Costa on keyboards, and Jeoraj George on drums.
Expect intricate Carnatic ragas, spontaneous jazz improvisation, and groove-driven rhythms, all housed in the iconic acoustics of Chowdiah Memorial Hall.

Dancing Tales.. Panchatantra
Dancing Tales .. Panchatantra - brings alive some of the most well-known tales from the Panchatantra, where through parable and allegory, the production talks about friendship, bravery, quick wittedness, foolishness, leadership and freedom.
In this 79 minute dance-theatre production laced with humour and wit, five well known stories from the Panchatantra come alive - The smart hare that outwitted the mighty Lion, the king of the forest; the foolish monkey who gets his tail caught in the wedge; the cranes and the tortoise, the evil crocodile and the monkey; and the escape of the doves.
Conceived and choreographed by renowned Dancer Padmashri Dr Ananda Shankar Jayant, the performance is by 20 + artists from Hyderabad and Bangalore
