About All Heart dance fest as a fund raiser for Daily wage workers
The Dance Community comes together with a big-hearted endeavour to help battle hunger and the food crisis in India, that has adversely affected millions of daily-wage workers and our country’s poor.
‘All Heart’, an online dance festival has 41 eminent dancers from across the country, conducting workshops in various styles ranging from Street to Bollywood and Latin dancing. Proceeds generated from the festival will solely be used for the charitable cause and in support of the Spreading Hope Foundation.
The festival which is the first of its kind in the country, is over two weekends with 48 workshops hosted by India’s best dance trainers including reality television star Sneha Kapoor.
The Spreading Hope Foundation is an NGO run by three friends - a lawyer, a social activist and a dancer. The organisation has fed 40,000 displaced daily wage workers providing them with 40 tonnes of groceries and essential supplies during the lockdown. But the battle is far from over.
“The need is huge and our resources are limited and soon depleting. The dance community has wholeheartedly supported us and has helped orchestrate the festival.” say Lourd Vijay, a dancer and trustee of the Spreading Hope Foundation.
The prices for the passes have been made affordable to encourage people to invest in dance, learning and social giving.
A full festival pass is Rs.990/- with options of picking day passes and passes for a single workshop as well.
