Inviting you to attend a Shaukeen Style, all-womxns' OPEN MIC.
This open mic has been curated to especially welcome first timers, and those who, like me(Nalini), are still intimidated by the feeling of being on stage. We will have some ice-breakers at the start to get to know one another and proceed with the performances. There will also be a few artists displaying thier art work and some fruit based refreshments by @drink_easy available to try and for sale!
You are welcome here, it is safe here. Come say your piece in the format you prefer - a story, a song, a rant, a dialogue, maybe even just read something. Expect warmth, and art all around to give you strength you may or may not need. See you there! 🔆
