Alliance University will host the 2026 edition of the Alliance Literary Festival (ALF) and Alliance ONE from 19 to 21 February at its Bengaluru campus.
This year’s ALF theme, “HerStory: Celebrating Nāri Shakti,” places women at the centre of intellectual, cultural, and public life, highlighting leadership across literature, governance, media, and the arts. Alliance ONE, the University’s flagship techno-cultural-sports fest, adopts the theme “Equity, Empowerment, Excellence,” exploring SDG-driven solutions for Bengaluru.
The festivals will feature leading voices from cinema, public life, law, media, and the arts, including Vidya Balan, Gul Panag, Sumukhi Suresh, Shobana, Aruna Raje, Margaret Alva, D. Roopa, Lakshmi Hebbalkar, Nayana Motamma, Sonal Mansingh, Methil Devika, Dhanya Rajendran, Rekha Menon, and Kalki Subramaniam.
Key highlights include a first-of-its-kind Writer’s Pitch connecting emerging writers with publishers and mentors, hands-on workshops in filmmaking, scriptwriting, comic design, and science writing, and a Call for Book Releases. A biker’s rally from Cubbon Park to the Alliance University Central Campus will also mark the celebrations.
