Amb Da Boota follows Lata, a woman in her mid-40s with a terminal illness, who quietly wishes to become a mango tree. As her family struggles with grief and confusion, Lata embarks on a whimsical, inward journey where the real and fantastic coexist. Characters live their stories while becoming their own tellers, undergoing transformation. The play balances death and loss with tenderness and imagination, exploring familial bonds, gender roles, and loneliness, asking what it means to seek change at life’s edge.
