off/BEAT is a new kind of festival- a way to redefine the experience of arts and culture by taking them beyond traditional venues and into Bengaluru’s historic, heritage-rich spaces.   

During these two weeks, we will illuminate the National Gallery of Modern Art, Panchavati, Sabha and more, and hold intimate dance, music and theatre performances with them as the backdrop. We invite you to join us in exploring and engaging with the city’s rich legacy in a fresh, immersive way.   

About the Performance    

Anti. is an experimental adaptation of the age old tragedy where Antigone’s youthful rebellion squares off against the tired cynicism of Creon, the King of Thebes. You witness a tale of disobedience, authority and loyalty where choice & fate play a key role! The show uses a combination of dialogue and theatre performance to engage with the audience members for an intimate exploration of the tragedy.
