Event Description

Anu Malik speaks on the role of music in ageing positively. The role of music in everyday life is varied - it can be recreational, educational, social, emotional, therapeutic, and spiritual. Malik will talk about the role of music in ageing positively and how music keeps him purpose-driven.

Malik was awarded a Silver Lotus (National Film Award) for Refugee (2000) and the Filmfare Best Music Director Award for Main Hoon Na (2004) and Baazigar (1993). He has composed music for several notable Bollywood films during his decades long career, and has had seven wins and 42 nominations for the Best Music Director award, including 14 nominations for Filmfare Awards.  He has also been a judge on Indian Idol for many years.

In this Facebook Live session, Malik will talk to the audience about his journey in music, and the important role he believes it plays in our everyday life.
