Award-winning violinist Apoorva Krishna's maiden contemporary fusion album, INTUITION and other compositions.

While firmly rooted in the Carnatic tradition, Apoorva's music takes journeys through her many other influences with a diverse palette of Latin jazz, flamenco, western classical, waltz and bluegrass, and jazz fusion.

Apoorva has shared close musical relationships with legends like Zakir Hussain, John McLaughlin, and Shankar Mahadevan, to name a few, and is also featured on the Grammy-nominated album Shuruaat by the Berklee Indian Ensemble.

Worth mentioning is Apoorva's deep interest in going beyond simply juxtaposing Carnatic ragas over Western harmony; her sincerity in exploring other styles shines through in her compositions, steering her in a direction that could truly be called world music.
