Art Mantram is hosting the Karnataka Kalotsava 2024 at various venues in Bangalore from the 9th – 24th of Feb 2024. ArtMantram Trust is a dynamic organization dedicated to promoting, celebrating, and supporting various forms of art, culture, and creativity. With a robust portfolio of events, exhibitions, interactive sessions, and outreach programs, the Trust has made significant contributions to the artistic community, both locally and internationally. Feb 9th – 6 PM Inauguration of Karnataka Kalotsava “Sammilana” a Dance performance by Rupesh Arangam Dance Ensemble @Samsa Bayalu, Ravindra Kalakshetra Feb 11th – 5.30 PM “Naam Ghum Jayega” Close to my Heart - Ramachandra Hadapad and team Music Performance @Samsa Bayalu, Ravindra Kalakshetra Feb 12th – 7 PM Gulabi Gang, Kannada Play Nayana Auditorium, Ravindra Kalakshetra, Bangalore Feb 13th – 5.30 PM Invisible Orchestra @St Joseph’s School auditorium, Richmond road. Feb 19th – 6 PM Sita: A Monodrama in Hindi by Anjana Chandak @Level 6, Above Church Street SOCIAL Feb 21st – 7 PM Turnarounds - An English play directed by Prakash Belawadi @BIC Auditorium. Feb 24th - 5.30 PM Hindustani classical music “DHRUPAD Duet” by Pt. Umakant Gundecha & Sri. Anant Gundecha @Havyaka Sabhabhavan, Near Railway Station, Malleswaram. Events and Festivals by ArtMantram so far Kalotsava (2020): A ten-day hybrid festival of dance and music held online and at the Bangalore International Centre. It showcased classical and popular music, aiming to support the performing arts community impacted by COVID-19 shutdowns. Khelo India University Games (2021, 2022): With 21 events, 12 artists, and an impressive audience of 63,000, this sports event served as a platform for talented individuals. Glasshouse Festival (2020): A four-day extravaganza celebrating poetry from over 20 countries. It featured numerous award-winning and emerging talents, impacting a wide audience. Blue Carpet Gala, Art Auction (2019 Festival of Art, Craft and Design (2019): Celebrated contemporary artists, World Craft Day, and hosted exhibitions of handmade products. Anāhata Exhibition (2015): Showcased 49 internationally renowned artists and new talents, drawing an audience of 2000. Hebbar Centenary Art Festival (2012): Celebrated the birth anniversary of noted artist K K Hebbar, exhibiting his works, screening a documentary, and honoring eminent personalities. Dubai: ’Place in the Sun’ Exhibition (2011): Collaborated to promote art exchange, showcasing established and emerging artists.
