The ‘Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights’ project organised by the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), supported by the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Bengaluru is an effort to bring together a multidisciplinary understanding of Artificial Intelligence’s impact on human rights, and locate these conversations in local contexts and vocabularies. This event will include a Keynote Speech by Prof Anupam Chander, Scott K. Ginsburg Professor of Law and Technology at Georgetown University Law Center, followed by a panel discussion moderated by Prof Sudhir Krishnaswamy, Vice Chancellor, National Law School, Bangalore. Featuring of the panel are, Anita Gurumurthy, Executive Director, IT for Change; Sameep Mehta, IBM Distinguished Engineer, AI and Hybrid Data at IBM Research and Arunima Sarkar, Lead, Artificial Intelligence, Centre for Fourth Industrial Revolution at the World Economic Forum (TBC)
