Artist & Designer Heena Pari, is showcasing her latest exhibition of paintings and installations - ‘Cocooning’ at 1Shanthi Road Studio, starting today till 3rd April 2022.

‘Cocooning’ marks the 2nd anniversary of the day India went into lockdown, and life as we knew changed, propelling us towards an uncertain path.

The artist says, “Cocooning’ is as much a story of my journey through these times as it is of ours -trying to finding reprieve in containment. It was in this confounded spirit, I found myself closely centered around Home, Kitchen, and Garden”.

These spaces and the time during pandemic inform the imagery and iconography of her latest  show, that has culminated into layered visuals of lived experiences. Heena finds the domestic space inspiring and uses a range of media to reflect time during the pandemic.

With 7 select bodies of work on display -  installations, a series of drawings, projections, collages and quilt inspired work, the sole focus of the exhibit is to invite us into her world, her home.

Her exhibition ‘Cocooning' is open for public viewing at 1Shanthi Road Studio / Gallery, 1 Shanthi Road, Shanthinagar, Bengaluru 560027, from 25th March to 3rd April, 11.00am to 7.00pm. For further details please call +91 9880528159.
