Event Description
TURNAROUND is a play set in the white-collar corporate world, a mysterious and intrigue-ridden space that is not fully understood. The play traverses the thought processes and actions of a senior and well-intended executive who expects to be dealt with fairly and objectively even if he refuses to suckup to the most senior leadership of the company. The organization's response is as canny as it is funny - and the play shines the spotlight on the orchestrated actions of leaders across the globe to drive to an outcome; underscoring the utterly duplicitous conduct in so-called value(s)-driven large corporates. Turnaround is based on a short story by Sriram Iyer, adapted and directed by Prakash Belawadi and is performed by the group Centre for Film and Drama.
