Jan 12 | 3 p.m.Runs till: Jan 12
The theme for the month is Nature and the Environment! Bring your favourite books, poems, stories that in some way are about nature, the environment, the world we live in.
The Atta Galatta book club is run under the aegis of the Atta Galatta bookstore. Open to readers of all ages, gender, creeds, beliefs and orientations, we look for only one common cohesive force – if you come to the book club, you must want to read books! Any books. Fiction, non-fiction, poetry, self-help, business, religion, new age, classics, PoMo, SFF, chick lit, science, mythology – we are here to read, and all readers are welcome. Rohini Malur moderates the sessions, which run once every month, usually on the second Sunday. Every month we read to a theme – we’ve looked at our favourite books, at books that made us sad, and this Sunday 12th Jan at 3 pm we want to talk about nature and the environment. Bring a book, poem, article, play or quote that you want to discuss, so long as it sticks to theme, and have a chat with Rohini and the others over a piping hot cup of coffee or chai.
