Event Description

Atta Galatta on Wheels is part of a series of events to showcase the essence of Bengaluru’s eclectic art and culture scene. It is a two-day event with stalls set up by local businesses that sell books, custom art, décor, pre-loved and sustainable items, and one or two children’s workshops. We pride ourselves on supporting the small businessperson and sustainability within arts and culture. In the past, an AG on Wheels event has attracted crowds of not less than 500 people. The upcoming AG on Wheels is scheduled to take place on 15th and 16th July, at Dock66 (Whitefield). Please find below the schedule of AG on Wheels:- Vobble- 15th July Vobble is India's first immersive audio adventure company whose content is designed to spark the imagination of children and get them off screens. Curated by two mothers, Vobble prides itself on being an intent-driven company whose mission is to provide engaging and interactive experiences for children that encourage creativity, learning, and exploration while reducing screen time. Aiming to engage the children in our audio immersive content with activity books like colouring in books in a 20min time slot period.

Art Is Zen by Daiti (TERRACE) 15th July (Saturday) at 11 AM- 12 PM Welcome to the "Art-is-Zen" workshop by How Art Thou (@how.art.thou), where creativity and craftsmanship come together to create fun pieces of wearable art. Our workshop is dedicated to providing an immersive and enriching experience for beginner-level jewelry enthusiasts! And the best part is that you get to take home what you make! In this workshop, you'll learn how to make a bracelet with cute charms attached, anklets, earrings, and even rings!

A Texture Art Workshop, is an opportunity to learn new art form by using the method of observing. You will be guided to appreciate the art around and create textures from everyday objects. This engaging activity promises not only to ignite your creativity but also to foster a memorable experience, allowing you to craft your own designs and depart with a stunning masterpiece in hand, brimming with cherished memories. Salony, a self-taught artist passionate about Minimalism and Texture Art, creates Artwork that expresses diverse cultures and life experiences. Her art carries profound meanings, speaking loudly through Minimalism.

Theatre workshop for children by Vikram Sridhar:

Children: 6 to 12 yrs

Telling a Story, speaking to an audience, becoming a character ... all these and many more. This acting workshop for children will take them through various fun-filled activities and theatre games to bring out the performer in them. Theatre is a wonderful space for children to be themselves, overcome fear, build patience and respect, responsibility, communication and many more.

Limited to 15 children, we will discover various aspects of acting through drama and storytelling to audiences in a fun and learning way.

Once Upon A Brunch by Vikram Sridhar

15th and 16th, 10.30 AM Weekend and late morning Brunch is an emotion. On the other hand Stories have always been an emotion too. What’s common between the two is the rich heritage of food and stories. What if they come together? Listen to these stories of the food as you enjoy your weekend Brunch set at a cozy location that has its own stories. A beautiful day starts with a lovely breakfast. And a morning with breakfast and stories. Every food we eat has a story to share .. Idli , Vada, bread , Paratha etc . Every breakfast comes after a long break and eager to be eaten.

Description of the event Have you ever felt your heart race, your skin flush red with a silly grin plastered on your face? Oh no! We aren’t talking about love and mushy stuff. It’s about the other stuff that makes things taste better, smell sweeter… The stuff that makes us sing off-key, do 100 push-ups at 2:00 AM, hug a person we swore we’d never even say hello to. Intrigued? Come over for an hour of stories from folklore, mythology and history as Vikram Sridhar and Aparna Jaishankar regale you with tales on the silly things we do when we numb our senses.

Snip, Snap, Snout by Rathy (AC ROOM) 16th July (Sunday), 11-12AM

Description of the event: Create magical memories with your children and family with these traditional puppets from Rajasthan. Katputhlis and hand puppets will tell their stories and take you to their land of magic, love, and wonder. Come watch the puppets come alive with stories and dance. This event is an interactive Puppetry Storytelling session with storyteller Rathy. Rathy is a puppeteer, a storyteller, and a reading consultant. Trained in various forms of puppetry, she has performed in multiple literature and theater festivals including Bangalore Lit Fest, Madurai Children’s Lit Fest, and Bookaroo Children’s Lit Fest at Gangtok, Varanasi, and New Delhi, Pushpalata LitFest, International Theatre Festival of Kerala, Urur Kuppam festival, and Maatru Nadaga Vizha.

Love Stories from Indian Heritage by Vikram and Aparna (TERRACE) 16th July (Sunday) 7:00 PM

Time travel into a space where love existed in realms that is not defined by today`s dictionary. Storytellers Apana Jaishankar and Vikram Sridhar will take you on a travel from folklore to mythology to tales hidden in oral literature the performance shall travel into the lesser known but strongly depicted `love` in our heritage from architecture to performances to paintings to folk songs peppered with emotions garnished with prose and poetry.
