Amar Chitra Katha Day at Atta Galatta promises a day full of fun and bonding for families and friends! Storytelling, drawing, quizzes, adventures and more, there’s something for people of all ages. Team ACK has a full schedule of events planned along with fun daylong activities going on at the side. It’s a great way to spend a day with your favourite people, characters and stories. Daylong Ongoing Activities Colouring Booth - ACK will provide the art, you provide your creativity. Older members of the group can sharpen their inking skills while the young ones can get creative with the colours. Or vice versa! This is also your chance to be part of Amar Chitra Katha’s iconic art! (Markers and crayons will be provided) Doodle Wall – For our special very young ones. This will be at their height so they can draw, colour or doodle whatever their heart desires. (Pencils, erasers, crayons and sketch pens will be provided) The Giant Crossword – This has 100+ clues from across Amar Chitra Katha’s vast repertoire. Put on your collective thinking caps and have fun solving this crossword. A no-stakes activity, you can attempt this throughout the day, as and when you wish. Get Clicked with Iconic Dialogues – Speech Balloons from ACK comics will be installed at the venue. Click a picture with your favourite ones. 

Schedule Storytelling Session at 11.30 AM - Team Amar Chitra Katha is going to tell you not one but two stories! We will act, sing, and completely immerse ourselves in the story so that you and your young ones will be immersed in them too. We welcome you to clap, sing and jump along with us! After each story, we will teach the children how to draw the characters in the story they just heard. This will be a simple, fun-filled activity where they will see how simple shapes can be used to make almost anything.

Any Character, Any Shape at 1 PM - Welcome to this interactive art session, where children will guess and draw characters from basic shapes. Treasure Hunt at 1.30 PM - An adrenaline boosting activity for the whole family. Each group has to find a clue, after which they will be given tasks of increasing levels of complexity. The first group to complete the tasks wins!

Mega Quiz at 2.30 PM - Which family wins? Parents, grandparents, children, all get to participate in this quiz. Emotions run high as you compete with other groups and answer questions from Amar Chitra Katha titles ranging from mythology and folktales to history and literature. You might be surprised at how much you know! And the best part – grand prizes await!
