Event Description

We are excited to reboot Yati Gati in the new Atta Galatta space in Indiranagar on 22nd April 2023 with ‘Me and my trash’ by Preethi Bharadwaj. 

About ‘Yati Gati’- ‘Yati Gati’ is a performance series curated by Temple of Fine Arts and Atta Galatta. In line with its core intent of ‘staging the dialogue between the artist and the audience’, the evening will host a moderated interaction between the artist and audience about the art form and the thought process behind the work performed. About ‘Me and my Trash’- ‘Me and My Trash' is a performance work by artist Preethi Bharadwaj that seamlessly brings together movement, story-telling, spoken word, poetry and object theatre to explore the complex relationship between art, trash and humanity. The artist looks at everything that humans generate from plastic, technology, tradition, stories, ideas, ideologies and even art as trash and attempts to examine the responsibility and accountability that comes with this act of creation.
