About Atta Galatta presents Stories from the Mahabharata

About the event:
"What is found here may be found elsewhere, but what is not found here cannot be found elsewhere." Few stories in the world are as intriguing as the Mahabharata, with its numerous plots and sub plots and characters having strengths and flaws in equal measure.

'Stories from the Mahabharata' is an endeavour by Aparna Jaishankar to recreate an interest in this epic.

About the Facilitator:
Aparna Jaishankar is a storyteller and theatre coach. She has performed in various storytelling festivals across the country. Indian mythology and history are her favourite genres of stories. Mahabharata stories are a staple in most of her performances. She blends traditional stories with contemporary retelling. She works under her banner ‘kAhini – What’s your story?’
