Event Description

For 12 weeks, a cohort of writers has been exploring the intersection of carbon and creative expression at the Capturing Carbon workshop. Graphite, nanotubes, fire, the carbon cycle, and other carbon-based ideas were fodder for their writing. In an effort to share their creative works and to expand the public’s conceptual understanding of carbon, these writers will showcase (and perform!) their mixed media creations at Atta Galatta.

We invite you to join us at the intersection of literary expression and scientific inquiry as these young writers present the way science has informed art and the way art can be used to further scientific understanding.
