Event Description

Word Wings is a collaboration between Atta Galatta and Sarsayee Foundation for Theatre and Education's Lit World to explore the flight of thought through words; simply put book joy! It is an endeavour to offer a platform for the exchange of ideas and opinions triggered by delving into books, works of creative minds, authors and poets and their take on all that they bring alive in the reader through words. We hope to encourage listening and in turn imagination. We offer regular sessions once a month where people bring a book or just a thought from a book on the theme for the month. In April 2023, we begin on the 29th at 5:30PM, a journey that starts with exploring the seasons in the writings of authors that one has read. If you have neither a book nor an idea to share don't fret. Just be curious and willing to explore what emerges in person, live!
