Ever wonder what is possible when we drop the small talk and connect for real?

Authentic Relating Games is a global practice of guided, playful yet deep exercises (the 'games') designed to help people connect more honestly and meaningfully — whether with close friends or complete strangers.

Through structured partner and group conversations, you will get to practice speaking from the heart, deep listening, and noticing what's alive in you as you relate to others. The games create space for more honesty, curiosity, and real human connection — often in ways that feel surprisingly fun, refreshing, and profoundly moving.

What to Expect

- A Structured Container: We will start as a full group to set some simple guidelines that ensure the space feels safe, respectful, and confidential.

- Activities with Partners, Trios, and the Large Group: We'll keep changing partners throughout the evening (no need to bring one!).

- Guided Prompts and Demos: We'll guide you step-by-step through the games and provide live demonstrations so you know what to do.

- Total Autonomy: You are always in the driver's seat. You choose how deeply you want to go, or pass on a prompt or game at any time.

No experience needed. Come as you are. If you've never done anything like this before, don't worry — it's simple and there is no pressure to get it "right".

About the facilitator:

Roy Jacob is the founder of the Conscious Communication Academy and has been facilitating workshops and retreats for over 15 years, mostly for changemakers as well as team retreats for NGOs and companies. Roy grew up in the U.S. before finding his calling and coming to India (where his roots are) in 2003. He believes in the transformative power of combining radical honesty with radical care.
