Event Description

Avarekai, or the Bangalore bean, is in highlight every January in the city. The avarekai is directly brought in from fields in Hunsur, Chikmagalur and Kolar without the intervention of middlemen to be showcased at the meal. 

The mela will showcase many varieties of dosas, vadas, ice-creams and savouries made with avarekai.

It is organised by Sri Vasavi Condiments in Basavanagudi at National College grounds.
