Event Description

This Saturday and Sunday, step into the nostalgia of physicist and Nobel Laureate Sir CV Raman's century old heritage home in Malleshwaram, Bangalore, for the opening of our solo exhibition with Avijit Dutta.

Dutta encountered the life and works of the Nobel Laureate, and the rambling bungalow where he lived, when he was invited to create a commemorative stamp celebrating the 75th year of the Raman Research Institute in Bangalore.

Many of the works that he created after returning home to Kolkata, were inspired by this experience in Bangalore. In a one-of-a-kind event, the art will first be displayed at the 100-year heritage home of the renowned physicist on the 22nd and 23rd of June, and will then go on view at KYNKYNY Art Gallery from June 25th to July 19th.
