Bahinabai Chaudhari is a Bharatanatyam production based on the life and verses of Bahinabai Chaudhari—a farmer-poet from Maharashtra whose oral poetry, composed in the Ahirani dialect, has become a symbol of rural wisdom and resilience.
Through intricate abhinaya, live music and evocative movement vocabulary, the performance explores the lived experiences of a woman rooted in the rhythms of nature, farming, motherhood, loss, and spiritual insight.
