Event Description

The Himalayan Club (THC), founded in 1928, is one of the earliest mountaineering clubs to have been established in the sub-continent and promoting various mountaineering activities close to a century. THC in association with the Canadian Consulate, is the official local organizer in India for the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour 2022-23 and has been exhibiting the World Tour at multiple cities in India for over two decades, since 2005. The Banff Mountain Film Festival is one of the flagship programmes of The Banff Centre, Canada and is one of the world’s pre-eminent mountain film and book festivals. Climbers, filmmakers, writers, and photographers from all over the world now recognize Banff as the key event in their mountain community… sharing stories with fellow mountaineers, adventurers and the general public.

The BANFF Mountain Film Festival World Tour consists of screening of a bundle of award winning short real life adventure films and portrays an indomitable human spirit and character!
