INTO THE PIT proudly presents Bangalore Thrash Fest, featuring a stellar lineup of thrash metal bands from across India. The thrash giants Amorphia from Kerala, along with Speed Trip from Bangalore, Kasck from Pune, Sabotage from Mumbai, and Splinter from Pune are headlining this epic event.

This festival marks the inaugural thrash fest in the southern part of India, promising an unforgettable experience for metal enthusiasts nationwide.

Amorphia was formed in late 2012 in Kerala, India and has been considered one of the spearheads of old school thrash metal in India. In 12 years, the band released three albums, supported some of the biggest names in metal, did three Japan tours and now preparing for their Thrash Aggression Europe tour in 2024. Speedtrip, a crossover thrash metal band from Bengaluru, plays a blend of thrash metal and hardcore punk, influenced by bands like Slayer, Exodus, Nuclear Assault, Toxic Holocaust Municipal Waste, S.O.D, and Power Trip amongst others.

The music is fast, loud and adventurous, with lyrics that challenge the status quo and express the band's love for drag racing, partying and beer! They have released two albums, "Trapped in a Maze" (2017) which represents their older heavy metal persona and "Apocalyptic Killzone" (2023), which is their most recent release and reflects their latest crossover thrash metal sound. Speedtrip is here to unleash their sonic mayhem on stage and party with the fans KASCK, a relentless force in the Indian Thrash metal scene, from the vibrant city of Pune.

The power trio exploded onto the scene with their debut EP, "Deal with the Devil," released in January 2023, unleashing a sonic onslaught that caught the attention of metalheads worldwide. The driving force behind KASCK consists of Mayank Katare, the mastermind on Guitar and Vocals, Saurabh Sharma, the relentless backbone on Drums, and the thunderous low-end provided by Vishal Prabhu on Bass guitar Formed in 2021, Splinter is an old school thrash metal trio based out of Pune & Kolkata.

Taking cues from the 80s Bay Area scene, Teutonic Thrash metal, South American extreme metal, and old-school death metal; we deliver metal with a ruthless, aggressive, and no-holds-barred approach. Our debut EP was released in March 2024 to critical acclaim and we toured around the country gaining a solid fan base. Lyrically, Splinter covers a lot of ground.

From ongoing sociopolitical issues to historical events, horror themes to fictional characters; many ideas can be found in the music. Our sound is confrontational and delivers cathartic thrashing.
