The best of Indian craftspeople and crafts is back to the Garden City with its biggest edition yet!
We are so excited to be bringing 160+ crafts groups under one roof from 15th to 21st May 2024 at the stunning Jayamahal Palace Hotel. More than 25 states of India will be representing their craft traditions ith 40% of new groups coming to Bengaluru for the first time. Many languishing crafts find representation in this edition. The curation is an eclectic mix of Handcrafted Textiles, Jewelry, Home Decor & Furnishings, Accessories and Wellness products.
We are bringing the goodness of authentic traditional crafts as well as contemporaneous interpretations of craft traditions. The Dastar Bazaar experience is not mere shopping. It is a holistic interaction between the rural craftsperson and the urban consumer without any middle-party intervention. Each product is handcrafted with genuine materials and each purchase empowers not just the crafts person but the community at large.

From Western India, crafts such as Phad And Miniature Painting, Handloom Weaving, Dabu, Bagru & Sanganeri Block Printing, Lacquer Work, Meenakari, Lehriya And Bandhani work, Embroideries, Eco dyeing & printing, men's Garments, Filigree Silver Jewellery, Leather & Wooden Work, Papier Mache, Handcrafted Musical Instruments and Clay & Terracotta Pottery.
Northern India offers a wide variety of crafts including Bhil, Gond & Thangka Painting, Banarasi, Chanderi, Patola, Paithni & Jamdani Weaving, Shibori, Tie-Dye, Chikan, Cord, Taat, Ari & Zardozi Embroidery, Crochet, Papier Mache Jewellery, Bead Work, Glass Bangles, Khurja Pottery & Natural Beauty Solutions.
Crafts such as Leather Puppet Painting, Ikkat Weaving, Recycled Jewelry, Metal Work and Organic Products come from Southern India.
Eastern India brings you Madhubani, Palm Leaf Work & Pattachitra Painting, Chizami, Cotton, Tussar & silk Weaving, Fibre & Wood Work, Batik Printing, Kantha Embroidery, Dhokra & Fusion Art, Embossed Leather Work, Sea Shell Products, Sholapith Work, etc.

The BENGALURU DASTKAR BAZAAR beckons with a plethora of cultural experiences featuring a riveting blend of music, dance and craft demonstrations. It offers visitors, particularly children, an opportunity to appreciate the intricacies and skills involved in the crafting process and the joy of Art.
