Get ready, Bangaloreans! The Bengaluru Dastkar Bazaar is back, bigger and better than ever before! From May 23rd to May 29th 2023, at the stunning Jayamahal Palace Hotel, more than 150+ craft groups and entrepreneurs from 25+ states across India will come together to showcase their unique creations. Following the tremendous success of last year's Bazaar, which saw a footfall of over 14,000 visitors and two bazaars hosted in Bangalore, we are determined to build upon that achievement and make this year's event even more successful. The 2023 bazaar features 30+ craft groups, showcasing their products in Bengaluru for the first time! So, what can you expect at the bazaar?

For the first time ever, crafts such as Chizami, Patola & Paithni Weaving, Taat Embroidery and Lehriya, along with Lacquer Work artisans and Bhujodi and Bandhni artisans from Sumaya Kala Vidyalaya, Gujarat are coming to Bengaluru. Dastkar's commitment to supporting the craft community, combined with the unique and authentic experience of Indian crafts, makes the Bengaluru Dastkar Bazaar a must-visit event of the year. Bengaluru has a rich history of craftsmanship, and supporting these artisans is crucial to maintaining and promoting Bangalore's unique cultural identity.

The BENGALURU DASTKAR BAZAAR presents a wide range of craft skills across all parts of India: From Western India, crafts such as Phad And Miniature Painting, Handloom Weaving, Dabu, Bagru And Sanganeri Block Printing, Lacquer Work, Meenakari, Lehriya And Bandhani work, Embroideries, Eco dyeing and printing, Mens Garments, Filigree Silver Jewellery, Leather and Wooden Work, Papier Mache, Handcrafted Musical Instruments and Clay and Terracotta Pottery. Northern India offers up a wide variety of crafts including Bhil, Gond and Thangka Painting, Banarasi, Chanderi, Patola, Paithni And Jamdani Weaving, Shibori, Tie-Dye, Chikan, Cord, Taat, Ari and Zardozi Embroidery, Crochet, Papier Mache Jewellery, Bead Work, Glass Bangles, Khurja Pottery and Natural Beauty Solutions. Crafts such as Leather Puppet Painting, Ikkat Weaving, Recycled Jewelry, Metal Work and Organic Products are coming from Southern India. Eastern India brings you Madhubani, Palm Leaf Work And Pattachitra Painting, Chizami, Cotton, Tussar and silk Weaving, Fibre And Wood Work, Batik Printing, Kantha Embroidery, Dhokra and Fusion Art, Embossed Leather Work, Sea Shell Products, Sholaphith Work, etc.

THE FOOD COURT Indulge in a culinary adventure at our Regional Multi-Cuisine Food Court, where an exquisite array of dishes and beverages from different corners of the country await you. Savor the authentic flavors of lip-smacking regional delicacies that will leave your taste buds yearning for more.

OTHER HIGHLIGHTS The BENGALURU DASTKAR BAZAAR beckons with a plethora of cultural experiences featuring an exquisite blend of music, dance and craft demonstrations. It offers visitors, particularly children, an opportunity to appreciate the intricacies and skills involved in the crafting process and the joy of Art.
