About KCMC:
Karnataka Classical Music Confederation (KCMC) Trust was formed to uphold the rights of Karnatic Classical Musicians in the culture-rich state of Karnataka and intends to unite all the musicians to create a dynamic workforce, preserve the musical identity of the state on a priority basis. The trust includes musicians of all ages who possess sufficient seniority, knowledge, experience, versatility, and dedication. Karnataka is a state that comprises eminent musicians and musicologists who have contributed significantly to the promotion and preservation of national culture. However, the musicians lack adequate recognition, representation, and opportunities in the home state of Karnataka. Similarly, the younger musicians are bountiful in their energies, and their achievements are commendable, thus deserving encouragement and support. Also, the Guru Parampara (the lineage of Gurus) of the heritage-rich state of Karnataka state requires holistic promotion, preservation, and promotion.
KCMC is for the musicians, by our musicians, and will forever belong to generations of musicians
