Event Description

The 16th edition of the Bengaluru International Short Film Festival (BISFF) returns as India’s only Oscar®-accredited short film festival, bringing together films from established and emerging filmmakers worldwide.

The 2026 edition features Oscar®-qualifying International, Indian and Animation competitions, alongside sections including Karnataka, Asian Eye, Women’s Cinema Collective, Queer Qorner, Let’s Include, AI-Film and Dancing Lens. A Non-Competition section rounds out the programme, highlighting the breadth and changing landscape of contemporary short filmmaking.
