EVENT HAS ENDED
7 4th Main Rd, Stage 2, Domlur 560071
We should be thankful for all this rain. Instead, we are distressed with floods, their causes, and who and what to blame, on the basis of which we rush to ‘problem solve’. It is an endless treadmill of despair that traps us into moving from problem to problem. Have we been describing and prescribing Bengaluru with the wrong imagination, a ‘river imagination’, when it demands a ‘rain imagination’ instead? The latter is the basis of a different sense and understanding of material, place, language, politics and infrastructure. Architect Dilip da Cunha will make a presentation which will be followed by a Q&A.
